You will see our owner-operator Principal Dentist, Mitesh, or one of our highly experienced associate colleagues.
Mitesh joined the clinic in 2002 to form a locally very well known father-son team (with Indra Patel), working together for over 15 years (as well as being Stony Stratford people themselves!), in our practice that has been looking after patients to a consistently high standard for over 40 years now.
Since then we have been joined by our colleague dentists, Dr. Poonam and Dr. Zahraa, both of whom were selected for their level of experience and commitment to the most up to date clinical techniques.
Some say that the future of healthcare should be large, cost-efficient, mega-clinic practices. We say that operating in a small, close-knit team like ours has always meant that we know our patients and our patients know us. Our practice is modern but our core values remain well rooted.
All of our dental staff are fully qualified and registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) or, occasionally with our nurses, on a nationally recognised training programme (working under strict supervision).
Registration with the GDC ensures they adhere to GDC standards and ongoing professional development.

Dr. Mitesh Patel BDS (London)
Dentist
Mitesh has been at our practice for over 20 years now, and has a broad range of notable accreditations and expertise in dentistry. These include: * The Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) trained in the care of nervous patients and dental sedation. * Membership to the International Team for Implantology, Straumann provider (for provision of dental implants) * Certified Inman Aligner and Six Month Smiles providing dentist (fast and simple tooth straightening) * Invisalign certified provider (clear braces for teeth straightening) * Dawson Academy graduate (excellence in functional smile design) * Smilefast certified for minimally-invasive smile design. Dr. Poonam Goyal BDS
Associate Dentist
Poonam qualified from the prestigious University of Delhi in 2010. Shortly after this she was awarded a Master's Degree qualifications in Prosthodontics. Her great interest is in comprehensive restorative dental care. In addition to her Master's qualification, she has completed a number of advanced certifications. Most recently she has been undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics (root canal treatment). Poonam is known for her excellent knowledge and commitment to the most thorough dental care for you. GDC Number: 271198
Dr. Zahraa As-Sultany BDS
Associate Dentist
Zahraa qualified from the University of Bristol in 2008. She brings a wealth of surgical expertise to our team and is currently undertaking advanced postgraduate training in dental implants and sedation. She is a certified Six Month Smiles provider. Zahraa has also been instrumental in bringing state of the art Biodentine therapies to Mi Dental. GDC number: 152731
Agnieszka
Dental Hygienist
Agnieszka has been a dental hygienist for over 15 years. Her primary focus is to work with you to help you to achieve the best dental health possible and to keep your own teeth for longer. She is our personal trainer for dentistry! Gum (or periodontal) health is the foundation for good dental health. She has also completed postgraduate training in Dental Radiography. GDC Number: 102870

Practice Receptionist
Louise will help you in coordinating all of your appointments. If there is even the smallest detail you are unsure of, you have only to ask!

Apprentice Dental Nurse
Anju is one of our friendly dental care professionals. You can be guaranteed of a warm welcome and expert support be it during your simple routine appointments or if you are undergoing a more advanced procedure. She is known for her quiet and calm manner during treatments.
